| I shared this with just about everyone in the CB, but for those hard to catch (like Ky) and generally for the sake of not forgetting this idea surfaced, here's one topic. It's nothing solid, I'm gathering ideas. I need more ideas people, if this is to take off.... but how it'd work: -25 years into the future, the current generation of heroes has become the stuff of legends and, one by one, retired. The world has been peaceful for most of that time and for lack of any exciting adventures to occupy them, they all found something else to do besides saving the world. Like Bookman that devoted life to his library and family. -Oh yeah, family time. The heroes actually set their priorities straight and now they've raised one (or more?) talented young children (maybe young adults?) that'll become heroes. The next generation of heroes and the actual stars of this RP, learning what being a hero is all about, what powers they inherited, and what their unique abilities and talents are. -Because the young heroes are the focus, they won't even see their parents for most of the time. >.> Except flashbacks. But really, I want to stress this part for consistency's sake. They're really starting from scratch so they're not gonna display world-shaking powers or wield soul-stealing swords... sounds right huh? Now, the kinds of challenges they face wouldn't be challenges at all if even one of the former generation of heroes was with them to take the lead and fight their battles for them. -There are exceptions to the above rule, as the kids can use a mentor character. Some heroes also have no chance of reproducing (not always through their fault XD) so their kids won't join the story. The heroes whose kids will star in the story, so far, are... Bookman, Magnus, Zeru, Kyrin, Shinato, SX, (Seth's char?) The mentors so far are.... Guy, DB and Seth. But Allen and Python MIGHT be mentors at some point as well. For everyone else I'll be deciding on a one on one basis. I made it 25 years so that some underage heroes (like Python and Cross) could potentially grow adult and have kids in their teens. You can have more than one kid and even more than one family... if your imagination is that productive to make the new ones. XD (Character Outline at this point) - Spoiler:
Name: Parent(s): (can leave unspecified and it'll be treated as 'past obscured') Race: (some of our heroes aren't even human) Sex: Age: Child #: (to denote if he/she has any younger/older siblings)
Appearance: -Height: -Weight: -Hair: -Eyes: -Skin tone, Body build, etc.: -Clothing/Costume: -Other: (tatoos, fangs, cat ears, tails and wings, etc.)
Personality: -Opinion of oneself: -Worldview: -Dreams/Goals: -Talents & Interests: -Boiling Point: (what will provoke an explosion of passion from this character - all the young heroes will have to learn to deal with their emotions and the responsibility for using their powers at some point or other)
POWER LIST: - - - - -
HERITAGE LIST: - - - - -
(Everyone starts with one heritage. This can be a hero's signature weapon passed on, or something else. Superhuman strength that non-human races pass on would count as heritage, and can be quite potent, though again relative to a character's age.)
(The number of powers you begin with depends on the age of the character. At 1~10 years, they have one power they were born with but haven't awakened yet, and thus cannot use it voluntarily. At 11~14 they have one awakened power, at 15~18 two awakened powers or one they have trained to be proficient in, at 19~24 one awakened and one proficient power; finally at 21~24 there's two proficient powers, 1 proficient and 2 awakened OR 1 power mastered and 1 awakened. This is to cut down on immediate power and versatility but still make for a clear gap between the older and younger heroes.)
(Mind you, the heroes will develop at a much higher rate once the RP actually starts so the younger ones can and will catch up or even beat the older quickly. In other words without fighting experience they have been slacking off - even if they were actually training.)
............... I still need more ideas, as I said. I'm thinking that in addition to the Powers and Heritage, all of the heroes have some experience in fighting, whether it's been through sports, martial arts, or simply street brawling. That in turn can bring them together as all the heroes suddenly send the kids onto a training camp. There, fighters from different ages can meet. What kind of adventure starts from there, we'll see. EDIT: Other idea. A tower like in Teen Titans. The heroes have stayed in contact those 25 years, so their kids know each other. And they have their own place for when they want some freedom from the parents, where they can virtually do what they want. Including play heroes. Traveling as far as planet Earth or maybe just North America. This way the previous generation doesn't have to retire altogether. They can still watch over Earth, but when something small pops up... "Naah, let the kids do it." They'd only step in when some bigger trouble is brewing. And so long as the kids are a team, their unequal power levels aren't such a big weakness compared with the teamwork and versatility they bring in when everybody specializes in something new.

| I was actually thinking the mentors don't fill out the profile. Possibly because they have too many powers to list, or they are so obscure. Almost anything goes, thankfully, for the sole reason that they're not gonna appear often and so can't destabilize the story.
You too SX? Awesome... be my guest. I'm really curious as to what you're gonna ready up.

the Mentors ARE already part of the main story. I know what you mean but Bookman say they will not appear that often so that kind of bothered me a bit.

| <.< They will have their screentime. I just don't know how much. I know I want to keep the ratio "Kids" > "Mentors" > "Parents". They're the stars of the show, but they'll need guidance all the same. One mentor per mission they undertake will be plenty. Which goes to say that having both a Kid and a valid Mentor character has its benefits. I'll probably allow it, for some people at least. Also. I'm making an outline for the Mentors (Parents only answer two extra questions, the ones marked with *, but they use the same Template) - Spoiler:
Name: Partner*: (can leave unspecified and it'll be treated as 'past obscured') Children*: (Name/Gender/Age format, you can leave out the name if you're undecided) Race: (some of our heroes aren't even human) Sex: Age:
Appearance: -Height: -Weight: -Hair: -Eyes: -Skin tone, Body build, etc.: -Clothing/Costume: -Other: (tatoos, fangs, cat ears, tails and wings, etc.)
Personality: -Opinion of oneself: -Worldview: -Dreams/Goals: -Talents & Interests: -Boiling Point:
Expertise: (What your Hero is best at, basically a Legend at doing, they want the job done they get the best man, right? These can overlap with other characters and you can have more than one, but no more than 3. It can be a special power, but it could also be something like fashion sense.)
Plot Points: -Home Base: (Where the hero is stationed. When missions will lead the kids all around the world, they'll set up a temporary base in the home of the nearest parent/mentor to their target location. This'll mean screentime. You can give a short description of the hero's home (base) or leave it blank, it'll fill out with full detail when the kids actually get there.) -Secret Training Technique: ("None" / "Secret" / described in detail. The Mentors will get to show off with this when the young heroes spend time with them.) -(Tech) Support: (Optional; The assistants, scientists, policemen etc. working in established ties with the mentor. This can range anywhere from an office lady making coffee to the complete support of the United Nations, but hopefully nobody goes all out. XD) -Duties/Hobbies: (What the older folks do when the kids go saving worlds, cause daily life is also important at some point. "Sex" counts as a Hobby - yes Python, I'm looking at you.) -Arch Enemy: ("None" / name / name for a race or type of enemies, like aliens or undead, that constantly give the hero trouble. None can mean the hero lives in peace or that all the varied kinds give him trouble, either way that doesn't give me as GM a 'plot point' to work with.) -Kryptonite: (Optional; A weakness that can completely incapacitate a character. I'll be using this to put them as hostages, at least once - usually if their Arch Enemy shows up. Why? For the kids to rescue them of course, they're the stars of our show! If you don't want to be used as a hostage or simply have no such weakness leave this blank.)
Comedy Points: (voluntary funny details, list as many as you want, even 0) - - - - -
There is no list of "Powers" because for Mentors and Parents, anything goes, really. I'm not limiting what you have, so long as you don't steal the show and kill the baddies that the Kids need for EXP, right? You can start posting the profiles here so I'll know if the undecided people want to be Mentors or Parents and who has the Kid( Heroe)s. Meanwhile... are we agreed on the Teen Titans theme - if so, who wants to design their base? XD

| Alright. I guess I'll post my mentor for now... - Spoiler:
Name: Lii Partner: Too many to count Children: Too many to count Race: Semi-God (The son of a god and a human; an Immortal) Sex: Male Age: Appears to be in his late 20s, early 30s, but he's around 2000.
Appearance: -Height: 6 ft 1 -Weight: 173 lbs -Hair: Black -Eyes: Blue -Skin tone, Body build: Fair; Athletic -Clothing/Costume: A black and red, white-trimmed jacket and black gloves make up much of his upper-body apparel, with a pair of black jeans and red, black, and white sneakers making up the lower. He has a red streak in his spiky-black hair, and is usually wearing shades, even when it's not bright out... most probably due to his frequent hangovers. -Other: Both ears are pierced multiple times, and he has multiple tattoos on his arms, back, and chest, with everything ranging from dragons and deities to names and addresses.
Personality: -Opinion of oneself: "Not even time can catch up with me." -Worldview: Fun -Dreams/Goals: None -Talents & Interests: He has impeccable aim, and loves Gambling (Cheating) -Boiling Point: Insulting his looks.
Expertise: Information. If you need it, he's got it, and if he don't got it, he can get it. He's also a "Hero for Hire". He has to make a living somehow (only to blow it on more gambling).
Plot Points: -Home Base: He has none, he's a wanderer. -Secret Training Technique: He teaches through experience, not through instruction. He's a bit outrageous in what he asks, but he raises some damn good heroes because of it. -(Tech) Support: Despite being a 'hero', he's well-connected to some underground activities, having people planted in various gangs and mafia worldwide, feeding him information. -Duties/Hobbies: Gambling and Sex. -Arch Enemy: "August." -Kryptonite: Unknown.
Comedy Points: - He's drunk. A lot. Half the time, he has no idea what he's saying, but it's still somehow profound and intellectual. 'Course, he's also prone to ramble. - He only thinks he can flirt with women.

| Lii's fine. I forgot to mention, 'Wanderer' really is an option in the 'Home Base' field. I'll pick one of you guys when sending the heroes on a mission to a region of the world none of the other mentors are actually stationed in. So it works out in the end. EDIT: Bookman (Parent) - Spoiler:
Name: Bookman Partner*: Elie Inverse Children*: Mario/M/19, Nike/F/18, Joy/F/18 (twin), David/M/16 Race: Human Sex: Male Age: Late 40ies
Appearance: -Height: around 6 feet -Weight: around 150 lbs -Hair: Black -Eyes: Never Seen -Skin tone, Body build, etc.: White-skinned, thin build. -Clothing/Costume: At home he dresses causal in material trousers with a yellow-beige checkered shirt he wears unbuttoned with the collar turned up, the sleeves rolled up above his elbows, white sleeveless undershirt beneath. He walks around the house in slippers, no socks. When appearing in public or going on a mission he'll wear an inverted tuxedo (black shirt, the rest white) or a full grey bodysuit but without a helmet. -Other: Shaves the beard but keeps a moustache. It's very prominent now, and he twirls it with his fingers when exceptionally glad about something. Both Poland and Italy have a long tradition of moustaches that comes together in Bookman.
Personality: -Opinion of oneself: "So little time, so much to learn..." (in his student years it carried a different meaning XD) -Worldview: The multiverse is a marvelous place waiting to be explored, full of creatures that hold the spark of heroism in them that he can befriend, of those in need because he has to keep helping others fulfill their destinies. -Dreams/Goals: "Saint Peace" (this works in Polish), happy family life and raising his children the best that he can, his extended family of heroes, World Peace at home and exciting new worlds to explore and study. -Talents & Interests: Self-taught genius Inventor of limitless curiosity, with too many interests to list. -Boiling Point: Wanton destruction and violence without reason or purpose to it.
Expertise: Diplomacy, Gadgeteering, Lost Lands' Lore (the sort of information not necessarily hard to obtain but lost because people stopped paying attention to it, discarded it, he picks up all sorts of trash data like that).
Plot Points: -Home Base: Alaska. From the outside it looks like it's a wooden house made of natural materials, but underground it hides a high-tech information center, laboratory, garage of vehicles and top-class defensive systems, and more. The aboveground house has a nearby outdoor artificial hot springs with a wall of tall wooden poles separating 'Guys' and 'Ladies' sections. -Secret Training Technique: Secret -(Tech) Support: He keeps ties with real scientists, but his biggest support comes from the rich fanbase that grew up reading his stories and becoming amateur inventors, the future sci-fi geniuses. He keeps contacts worldwide, answering e-mails and giving weekly lectures over VR conference. -Duties/Hobbies: Writing, Reading, Gaming, Tinkering with Machines, Studying the data sent his way from all over the world, Physical Workout, Sex Sex Sex... -Arch Enemy: None -Kryptonite: If his amulet is stolen before he can transform, he's stuck a normal human... almost (Fuchsia and Zeru's training thankfully stay with him).
Comedy Points: -Has no sense of style - or has a style nobody understands -Pervert in Denial, but sometimes he can't control himself -Naive irrecoverable Optimist -Fuchsia and Book's chats as a constant source of amusement -Easily dominated by Elie (though not completely); has to excuse himself from meetings to answer her calls and return home at the oddest of moments) -Never bored around SX. Yes this is a Comedy Point.
Nike - Spoiler:
Name: Nike Parent(s): Bookman + Elie Inverse Race: Human Sex: Female Age: 18 Child #: 2
Appearance: -Height: 6'6" (taller than her father at this point) -Weight: 123 lbs -Hair: Black, styled into a bun that rises at the back of her head -Eyes: Grey-Blue -Skin tone, Body build, etc.: White-skinned, thin, B-cup. -Clothing/Costume: Nike uses a white butterfly hairclip to hold her hair in a bun; she wears a red bra with dynamite icons on the cups, the straps going up and tying behind her neck, criss-crossing; a sleeveless black vest worn totally unzipped, plus long black jeans and Nike shoes. On the back of her vest there's a flame vortex pattern and on her jeans a flame design goes from the thigh to the ankle, down both pants on the outer sides; the belt of the jeans is a gold chain; and finally her black fingerless gloves have the two halves of yin-yang on the backs of her hands. -Other: Uses a fuchsia pink lipstick and nail polish; on both arms she has a black tatoo, "Daddy's" on the right and "Girl" on the left shoulder. (See, this is what happens when your kid wants a tatoo and instead of "No" you answer "Yes, but...").
Personality: -Opinion of oneself: "Not Strong Enough", she's very self-critical, but the dissatisfaction is a drive that gives her power. -Worldview: The world is a tough place to live in, but when you're tough enough, you can make the world yours. Other people are judged according to their strength: physical, magical, as well as their willpower and strength of character. The world also has rules that must be obeyed, strength without the rules is not true strength, but cheating, and in the end it's worthless. -Dreams/Goals: Becoming the strongest living being, with an iron body and an iron will. Being recognized by the general public and by those close to Nike. Making a living out of saving the world, to never retire (and rust as a consequence). -Talents & Interests: Martial Arts, Dodgeball, Ice-Skating, Hiking, Swimming, Psychology and Biology, Gaming, Movies, Linkin Park, Violence in general, last but not least... Magic. -Boiling Point: When someone nearby surrenders, gives up, admits weakness. Nike has no pity for the weak, when she finds she's not strong enough it's a really hard blow on her.
POWER LIST: -Unarmed Combat (Proficient) - The kind of martial arts training after which you punch through bricks. She can sense Ki, but can't fire any Ki-powered attacks until the next level. - - - -
HERITAGE LIST: -Demolition Talent (Tiny) - A bonus to ALL kinds of damage, inherited from Elie. Her destructive spells are legendary, and even without relying on them she could always inflict pain. Physical, magical, also mental and emotional. - - - -
TRAINING LIST: - - - - -
David - Spoiler:
Name: David Parent(s): Bookman + Elie Inverse Race: Human Sex: Male Age: 16 Child #: 4
Appearance: -Height: 5'10" -Weight: 111 lbs -Hair: Red, messy and unkept -Eyes: Green -Skin tone, Body build, etc.: White, thin and frail-looking. -Clothing/Costume: Blue T-shirt, grey trousers, and an awesome high-tech wristwatch always seen on his left hand. -Other: None
Personality: -Opinion of oneself: "Nothing is impossible." David feels free and unlimited, with endless possibilities available to him. He's partly naive in that, like Bookman was. -Worldview: The world is an exciting and fun place with many exotic places waiting for a visit. Its dangers are a chance for heroes to prove themselves - monsters exist to fight them and win. -Dreams/Goals: To travel the world and master all sorts of different fighting styles in order to be the best, most versatile fighter ever. -Talents & Interests: Food, Movies, Gaming, Toys, Gadgeteering, TCGs, Geography and Astronomy, Adventure Stories, Detective Stories, Superhero Fighting Styles and DEBATES, especially on topics he previously never heard of/thought about. -Boiling Point: When there's no way out from a convoluted situation and everybody around him starts to lose hope, as if that was the end of their exciting adventure. David will never accept this without violent opposition.
POWER LIST: -Unarmed Combat (Awakened) - David has been through training similarly like Nike, but he's younger and he put less effort into it. He can't sense Ki and his movements aren't properly synchronized. -Danger Sense (Awakened) - A weak precognition ability that warns David of approaching danger, whether it's a punch, a laser, a herd of stampeding bulls or a meteor about to crash on his position. This early he can't foresee the nature of the attack, only the direction and a safe zone, if any. It's mostly, but not always, early enough for him to react. - - -
HERITAGE LIST: -A.T.F.T. (Arcane Telempathic Faculty Transformer, also ArTeFacT) - A gift from his father, a device disguised as a normal wristwatch that answers to David's aura and is actually merged with his hand (so he never takes it off). Like Bookman, he can transform, but his device uses a brand new system and different forms from Book's. Current number of forms: 1 (Pirate Form) - - - -
TRAINING LIST: - - - - -
Spectro (Mentor) - Spoiler:
Name: Spectro Partner*: CLASSIFIED Children*: CLASSIFIED Race: Cybernetic Virus Organism Sex: Male Age: Permanent Young Adult
Appearance: -Height: 6'6" (or variable) -Weight: 120 lbs (or variable) -Hair: Blue hair, spiky, rising backwards -Eyes: Cyber Green -Skin tone, Body build, etc.: White skin, lean and slick shape. -Clothing/Costume: Black bodysuit, green gloves and boots, blue belt. No armor or helmet on his person. -Other: Zigzagging blue eyebrows that stick out like two antennae, rising up and backwards.
Personality: -Opinion of oneself: "The hash of the hash hash." Spectro is famous for substituting 'hash' for certain words while speaking. -Worldview: The world is hilariously funny, deserving of endless laughter. All living beings struggle to stay alive when it means continued suffering, and the irony of this condition is not lost on Spectro. Born and reborn through junk he joins the actors on the stage only when his time to shine comes. -Dreams/Goals: Those he had have either been abandoned or accomplished, and currently he lives only in the present, with day-to-day activities occupying him completely. -Talents & Interests: Fighting, Racing, and Gaming; Hacking and Machine Conversion; every bit of information and entertainment available online automatically falls under his interest. -Boiling Point: Shadows of the past...
Expertise: Hacking, Speed Freak, and Internet Trivia information.
Plot Points: -Home Base: Wanderer. He can travel anywhere technology reaches and generate his own temporary body from local devices/machines. -Secret Training Technique: Secret -(Tech) Support: None -Duties/Hobbies: Surfing Online, Taming Viruses, Scaring Humans, Joke Contests. -Arch Enemy: CLASSIFIED -Kryptonite: Water; short circuits the devices that compose Spectro's material body, sending him back to cyberspace. It's not his inherent weakness but rather that of materials; nonetheless he cannot stay materialized when it's raining or underwater.
Comedy Points: (voluntary funny details, list as many as you want, even 0) -Variable size that depends on devices means a cellphone-sized Spectro might star in adventures sometimes. -Sarcasm. Lots of it. -Comic/Cartoon/Humoristic fighting style.

| Sounds good ZM. I could use that scenario sometime... OvO
DB is fine. He'll make a good mentor - for some reason I can perfectly picture him as Kakashi...
Anyhow, one thing to clear up about Powers vs Heritages. Heritage is something the hero receives as a gift from his/her parents (Zeru's sword, In Flames, if he passed it on, would be good) or something that comes as benefit of the bloodline, especially for non-human races (Zeru's demonic blood would give a boost to all stats, and his famous skin developing). The origin of heritage comes from the parent.
Powers, on the other hand, have their source in the hero's innate potential for heroism. Everybody has some powers that await the time to be awakened, then mastered. Over time, the heroes will train to make better use of their powers. They earn it, instead of receiving it as a gift.
Spellcasting ability (in general) is a power. The heritage when born from a spellcasting parent is a Spellcasting Talent, which boosts all spells the character will be casting. Similarly, you can't pass on the knowledge of fighting styles through blood, but you can inherit a talent for learning martial arts.
A boost from the bloodline grows at a steady pace with age. An item received as heritage essentially functions at full power all the time, unless you include a trial or quest before the item fully obeys the hero. You will be getting more heritages as well as more powers, but at the start the heroes have one heritage and powers as I listed them above.

| Alright, I join with a kid character: - Spoiler:
Name: Aisan Windar Parent(s): Thomas Windar (SX) Race: Human/Yami mix. Sex: Male Age: 16 Child #: 2
Appearance: -Height: 5'4" -Weight: 140 lbs -Hair: White, long, one side is slick and well done backwards, while the other side is messy. Regularly switches hair sides each day. -Eyes: Right eye is clear blue, left eye, usually covered by his messy hair OR a well done hair curtain, is completely red, with lightning energy coming out of it on emotions. -Skin tone, Body build, etc.: Rather skinny although the body mass might state otherwise. His skin tone is pale white. Always. -Clothing/Costume: Asymmetrical costume. Black shirt, with one of the sleeves long, covering one of his hands, while the other is sleeveless. His pants also black, one leg of his pants fully extended up to the boot, while the other ending around the knee, rolled up and puffy. His open body parts are covered by a silver chain, also tied around his torso. Purple ornaments of different kinds are also present on his body, changing everyday. -Other: Only the red, sparkling left eye.
Personality: -Opinion of oneself: Aisan thinks of himself as an artist, with the world being his paper sheet. Being the creator of beauty and a perfectionist he is the one that was born to improve the world and its overall visual side. Everyone that disagrees with his style must be surely ignorant or simply stupid. -Worldview: The world around Aisan is ugly. Humans and other creatures cannot understand the meaning of true beauty and style, thus Aisan takes his time to educate the poor, stupid people. Those that oppose this style are usually either not educated enough or are simply too corrupted with the old way and should be forced to love his style.....but the forceful issues are something on what Aisan is working on NOT to do. -Dreams/Goals: Aisan's dream is a perfectly asymmetrical world, that shows true beauty in the fact everything and everyone is different. Knowing that everyone is different and making people understand that it should be loved, will lead to a perfectly free and peaceful world, filled with asymmetrical beauty and love. And thus, Aisan pursues his dream of making people love his chosen style. -Talents & Interests: Aisan can draw, sew, paint and sculpt. He is interested in art and the beauty in the asymmetrical design. -Boiling Point: Usually it is related to something being perfectly symmetrical. If something was to fight against his asymmetry style, Aisan would try even forceful measures to change it, and if someone is forcing symmetry for some reason, it might even lead to a fight with the use of very brutal weapons.
POWER LIST: - Demonic Dark Style - A combat style similar to his father. Uses natural dark energy from his body to create shockwaves, barriers or beams of dark energy that attack. Unlike the style used by his father, Aisan uses a more static and slower version style, yet packs more power in the attacks. - - - -
HERITAGE LIST: - Magic Notebook and Pencil - A special, very old notebook with plain white paper inside, always empty. Used by his father, was inherited from him on his 10th birthday. Whatever is drawn in the notebook becomes real and can jump out of the paper sheet. Usually to perform attacks or changes to surroundings. The notebook can create anything, even intelligent beings, however any living life form disappears after 10 minutes. If willing to do so, something can be drawn inside and left for later to jump out when desired by Aisan. The only requirement for the notebook to work is to draw something as realistic as possible. The notebook has 60 pages and thus can contain up to 60 drawings that Aisan replenishes during his free time.

Appearance (main form): -Height: 5'10 -Weight: 98 lbs. -Hair: Light platinum, now combed down and not as wild, and in a long ponytail down to his lower back. -Eyes: Golden -Skin tone, Body build, etc.: Pale, lithe, slightly muscular frame. -Clothing/Costume: Shinato wears a black short-sleeved shirt and black pants, as well as black combat boots. He wears a grey, beat-up trench-coat over this outfit. -Other: Occasionally is seen with what appears to be a cigarette in his mouth, but is actually a lollipop. May form the two angel wings his child form from long ago sometimes had. This form is an adult version of that same child form.
Personality: -Opinion of oneself: "An audience member has no place on the stage." He believes that he's gotten too old for the world, and that it's in the hands of the children of the current age. -Worldview: All the universes are balanced, and for every problem a solution or remedy exists in that universe. Thus, he tends not to worry too much about things anymore. -Dreams/Goals: For his daughter to grow up strong like her mother, for happiness everywhere -Talents & Interests: Multiple forms, teleportation, expert craftsman of various things, various different interests -Boiling Point: Mean people, a person attempting to control everything, especially the lives of others.

Plot Points: -Home Base: Uchouten Island, the former home of his cult before they disbanded. The island is now very tropical-like. Shinato and his family live here in a mansion in the center of the island, and underneath said mansion is a sort of base Shinato has made. Details are scarce. -Secret Training Technique: Secret -(Tech) Support: Mostly his wife, Kashmir, but some old friends occasionally will come to help him with things, such as Genfu. -Duties/Hobbies: Reading books, crafting various items, keeping watch over the island and the area around it, spending time with his wife and daughter, baseball (surprisingly). -Arch Enemy: None, though has problems with the man known as Bellatam sometimes. -Kryptonite: None
Comedy Points: -Incredibly eccentric sometimes -His ability to remain happy in nearly any instance can be quite inappropriate in some situations -Totally whipped by Kashmir and answers her every beck and call. -Has quite a few idiot moments sometimes -Obsesses over his daughter in a Maes Hughes fashion.
Child: - Spoiler:
Name: Cashmere (named after her mother) Parents: Shinato and Kashmir Race: Hybrid-Nephilim (Deity and Angel breeding) Sex: Female Age: 13
Appearance: -Height: 4'3 -Weight: 72 lbs. -Hair: Long, silver hair down to just above her thighs -Eyes: Heterochromia; Her right eye is red and her left one is gold. -Skin tone, Body build, etc.: She's a bit pale, and like her father has a slim, lithe frame. -Clothing/Costume: A black long-sleeved dress that goes down to her knees, and black pants. She also wears a black sleeveless turtleneck shirt under the dress. Completely clashing with the rest of the outfit, she wears white sandals. She sometimes carries around a white stuffed cat doll as well. The doll is named Mille Sourires, or just Mille for short. The doll is actually a weapon her father made for her, but the properties of it are unknown at the time.
Personality: -Opinion of oneself: "Smile in the face of despair and keep going forward." Cashmere is very optimistic and believes that if you wallow in sorrow, you'll only make your situation worse. She's a very calm, upbeat child. -Worldview: The whole world is a huge land of mystery just waiting to be explored. -Dreams/Goals: To become stronger, explore all sorts of worlds, and make her parents proud. -Talents & Interests: Sewing, reading, various sports, traveling and exploring places, combat, videogames, pretty much anything really. -Boiling Point: When somebody is wallowing in self-pity or a similar situation.
POWER LIST: -Melee combat (Proficient) She was trained by both of her parents and is very skilled with all forms of melee combat. However, she can't use weapons for ranged attacks, like sonic booms and whatnot. - - - -
HERITAGE LIST: -Azrael's Feather (Tiny) a variation of the death angel form that Kashmir had called Azrael's Plume. Though it doesn't sap life from the surrounding area at as great of a speed as her mother's, she is still incredibly fast and powerful in this form. Unlike her mother's version, she cannot use attacks that rewrite the future to ensure they hit the target. Furthermore, she can't invoke this form for very long. - - - -

| Huh...... Nike looks so modest with her damage boost compared to these two kids.
Shinato is accepted. Aisan and Cashmere are fine except their heritages are..... bluntly put, potentially overkill. I already know from SX that the notebook is a summoning power instead of reality manipulation, so that's a plus. But still, preparing 60 attacks in advance that Aisan could shoot at the drop of a hat is a good tactic to bring down an offensive boss quickly.
I was thinking 'level of detail means power', but now with his fighting style (one ability so that's proficient level, huh?) I've changed my mind. If the notebook feeds on Aisan's energy in order to summon the drawings into reality, then more energy poured into them gives them more power and all works well.
I have an idea of Azrael's Plume, so I'll be watching Azrael's Feather. All the restrictions imposed on it make it workable... I'd throw in that Cashmere can only invoke it once per day.
Other than that, your heritages are good. They're powerful but not overkill.... <v<
I should mention something. Everyone begins with one heritage, and if it's stronger than it grows (if it can) more slowly - if it can't grow then you'll receive your new heritage later than the others with weaker heritages get their next ones. That's the balancing issue here, especially for gifts from parents ("when the time comes, when he/she's ready, I'll make a present of it).
Power is relative. Depending on what heritages the others choose, I'll just make a list of strongest to weakest and go along with that for checking who gets a new heritage and when. You might turn out to be getting more if the others go with strong heritages as well (David will be an interesting case here).

| In that case I'll already state this: - The heritage Aisan receives is the final version, it cannot grow more powerful. - It doesn't use any energy at all. I'll just type out all drawings he has in there in my profile or something. - Drawing is time consuming. He carries 60 attacks for like....the whole mission if they go out somewhere remember. Besides, I prefer writing down what he has in that notebook for balancing issues. It would be weird if he could summon something from the notebook that was so conveniently the boss' main weakness, and incredibly rare.
Do remember that while 60 drawings might seem overkill, it pretty much lasts for the whole mission. Sure, 60 attacks at the boss will be good, but he has to GET TO THE BOSS first, so unless there are only boss fights, I doubt he can just save all the 60 pages. And besides, not everything is a freakin attack.

| A folder with 60 attacks (and not all of them attacks) and no refresh until a rest period? Alright. That's an acceptable alternative. I'll still need to figure out the damage output and priority, but this works.
Bookman, Nike and David are all up (see page 1). If you need examples read and learn, you might get some good ideas too.
....... nobody's said anything but I assume there's no opposition to the Teen Titans alike group and tower idea. It's convenient because it'll allow for an episodic structure of missions, small objectives and training sessions not necessarily connected to each other, so members can swap out or hop along with whatever they have interest in or currently time for. It lets the group split into two groups or more, if there's enough folks, and complete different objectives at the same time.
I still need ideas for the missions themselves. I liked ZM's idea about putting the elder heroes in need of rescuing, and I have one not-necessarily combat oriented, but I still need more. Well?

| Well, why not just limit the heroes to children? Perhaps some of the older villains who've survived have kids of their own that could serve as opponents? | |
